2 There are four control buttons which are located on the bottom of the pager. A. The button is used to: Turn your pager on and off. Enter the menu code.   B. The button is used to: Read messages. Select options. Confirm your selection.   C. The two buttons with and arrows are used ....to: Step through menu options. Recall and read your messages. 3 A. Slide the battery cover latch into its unlock position.   B. Remove the battery cover by sliding in the direction of the .....arrow on the cover.   C. Install the "AAA" battery with the positive contact .....corresponding to the (+) marking on the inside of the battery .....compartment. D. Replace the battery cover. Lock the battery cover by sliding .....the latch into its locked position.   When the pager detects low battery voltage, the message "Warning: Low Battery" with a is displayed and an alert tone will sound. 4 Turning Your Pager On A. Press and hold down the button until the pager either .....beeps or vibrates. B. The display will automatically reset. The pager is now ready to .....receive messages.   Turning Your Pager Off A. Press and hold down the M button, "Mode 1" or "Mode 2", .....and "Press M to turn off" is displayed with a single beep. ....... Mode -1 (Beep Single) Press M to turn off B. Press the M button again and "Pager Off" will be displayed ....with a single beep. Your pager will automatically turn off. ....... Pager Off Memory Back up allows your pager to store and hold messages in memory for a short time while you change the battery or when you turn the pager off. 5 You can choose from a variety of 14 different call alert options. With the two alert modes ("Mode 1" and "Mode 2") you can select your two favorite alerts and activate either one simply. 1. BEEP (SINGLE or DUAL) 2. MUSICAL (8 MELODIES) 3. CHIRP W/VIBRATION 4.
